What is UBKT? UBKT is a biomechanics scoring system that analyzes your pitching motion and provides a written report with training priorities.
Important: UBKT is a performance assessment, not medical advice or physical therapy. Always consult a qualified medical professional before changing training if you have pain or injury.
This policy applies to all UBKT assessments purchased through Signal & Field Mechanics.
All sales are for digital services. When you purchase a UBKT assessment, you are paying for expert analysis of your data and a written report with training priorities.
If you change your mind before we start analyzing your data, you may request a full refund.
"Before we start" means: you have paid, but we have not yet begun processing your video, performance data, or building your report.
Once we begin reviewing your data or drafting your report, the assessment is considered in progress and non-refundable, even if you have not yet received the final report.
This is because the majority of the work happens behind the scenes during analysis.
If you need to delay your assessment, you can email us before we start analysis and we'll move your assessment to a later intake window at no extra charge.
If you go completely inactive (no data, no communication) for 60 days after purchase, your assessment may be closed without refund. You can always reapply in a future cohort.
If Signal & Field Mechanics is unable to complete your assessment (for example, due to technical issues, data problems we can't resolve, or capacity), we will either:

UBKT results depend on the quality and completeness of the data you provide.
We can't guarantee specific performance outcomes, velocity gains, or injury prevention results.
This policy is intended to be transparent and fair. It does not remove or limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
