Performance Analysis Lab

Your Mechanical Fingerprint

UBKT is a biomechanics assessment that measures how your body actually throws – sequencing efficiency, axis stability, rotational distribution, and consistency. Not a generic lesson. A mechanical profile.

UBKT is currently in a limited pilot phase. We're actively refining this framework with a small group of early athletes and coaches.

What UBKT Is

UBKT is an experimental performance-analysis framework for pitchers and rotational athletes.

It takes your motion data, training history, and context and turns them into:

  • A written report on how you currently move
  • A small set of clear priorities you can take back to your own training and coaching

UBKT is designed to support your existing work, not replace your coaches, trainers, or doctors.

What UBKT Is Not

  • Not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Not mental health or therapy
  • Not a substitute for working with qualified coaches, trainers, or healthcare professionals
  • Not a guarantee of specific outcomes (velocity, scholarships, contracts, etc.)

What You Get

Mechanical Fingerprint

Your UBKT profile with SEI, ASC, RDR, and DM scores, plus your mechanical archetype and key patterns.

Training Priorities

1–2 specific mechanical focuses to work on over your next 4–6 weeks of training, not a random drill list.

Optional Video Walkthrough

Premium only: 30–45 minute Zoom call where we break down your clips, answer questions live, and make sure you know what to do next.

What UBKT Measures

Five core metrics that describe your mechanical quality

SEI

Sequencing Efficiency Index

How efficiently your kinetic chain converts intent into repeatable output. Lower wasted motion, better timing.

ASC

Axis Stability Correcting Coefficient

Your stability under changing conditions. Head movement, trunk tilt consistency, directionality of force.

RDR

Rotational Distribution Ratio

How rotational load is distributed across pelvis, torso, and arm. Balanced vs. extreme patterns.

DM

Durability Multiplier

A workload reliability multiplier relative to a 6 IP/start benchmark. Values above 1.0 indicate elite durability.

What Data We Accept

UBKT scores are calculated from objective performance data. Video is supporting context only.

Primary Data (Required)

  • TrackMan / Rapsodo pitch metrics
  • Tread / Driveline testing outputs
  • Game pitch logs (velocity, spin, usage)
  • Session-to-session consistency data

Supporting Data (Optional)

  • Video (1–2 angles, supporting interpretation)
  • Injury history / workload notes
  • Game stats / season lines

Important: UBKT scores are calculated from objective performance data (TrackMan, Rapsodo, Hawkeye, etc.). Video is used to contextualize patterns and support interpretation, not to guess metrics. This ensures accuracy and integrity of your assessment.

The Process

1

Apply

Tell us about yourself, your level, and what data you have. Takes 3–5 minutes.

2

Get Accepted

We review your application and confirm if it's a good fit. You'll hear back within 24 hours.

3

Send Your Video

Upload 8–12 pitches from an open-side angle. Phone video is fine. We'll handle the rest.

4

Receive Your Report

Get your UBKT mechanical profile, key insights, and training focuses within 5–7 business days.

5

Optional: Call Debrief

Premium clients: 30–45 min Zoom where we walk through your profile and answer questions live.
