What is UBKT? UBKT is a biomechanics scoring system that analyzes your pitching motion and provides a written report with training priorities.

Important: UBKT is a performance assessment, not medical advice or physical therapy. Always consult a qualified medical professional before changing training if you have pain or injury.

This is a summary of how we handle your data for UBKT intake and assessment services. A more detailed policy can be added later if needed.

1. What we collect

When you apply for or purchase a UBKT assessment, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, email, social handles (if you share them)
  • Basic profile: age, playing level, handedness, injury history (self-reported)
  • Performance data: velocity, pitch metrics, game logs, motion-capture / ball-tracking data (TrackMan, Rapsodo, Tread, Driveline, etc.)
  • Media: optional video you choose to upload or share links to
  • Payment details: processed securely by our payment provider (we don't store your full card number)
  • Usage data: basic analytics from our website (pages visited, device type, etc.) to help improve the service

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Review your application and determine fit for the UBKT pilot
  • Deliver the UBKT assessment and your written report
  • Communicate with you about your application, payment, and next steps
  • Improve our metrics, models, and training recommendations (in aggregated or anonymized form where possible)
  • Maintain our records for accounting, tax, and legal compliance purposes

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who has access

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who help us run the business (for example: email provider, payment processor, data storage, and analytics tools)
  • Technical collaborators working directly on UBKT scoring and infrastructure, under confidentiality obligations

Everyone who has access to your data is expected to keep it confidential and use it only for UBKT-related work.

We keep your application and assessment data for as long as reasonably needed to:

  • Improve the UBKT framework and benchmarks

If you'd like us to delete identifiable data from future use (where legally allowed), you can email us and we'll explain what can be removed and what we must keep for records.

6. Minors

UBKT is primarily designed for athletes whose applications are submitted by themselves or by a parent/guardian.

If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian should be involved in your application and payment.
