Your data tells you what happened.
SpinAxis tells you what to do.
You have throwing data. Rapsodo, TrackMan, or your own velocity logs. But raw numbers don't tell you what to change, what to prioritize, or whether your development strategy is working. SpinAxis analyzes your profile through the UBKT framework and gives you structured, actionable interpretation.
SpinAxis is in pilot phase. We're working with early-stage users to refine the interpretation process and build proof of concept.
The Interpretation Gap
Data collection has become easier than ever. Rapsodo, TrackMan, velocity guns, command logs—serious programs now have more measurement capability than ever before.
But measurement and interpretation are not the same thing.
A coach can have a pitcher's velocity, spin rate, spin axis, extension, release height, and command data. But those numbers alone don't automatically answer the real questions:
- Which metrics matter most for this pitcher?
- What's the actual limiting factor in performance?
- What should we prioritize changing first?
- Is this pitcher developing in the right direction?
- What does this data pattern actually mean?
Raw measurement creates data. Interpretation creates clarity. SpinAxis exists to bridge that gap.
The Interpretation Layer
SpinAxis is not coaching. It's not a replacement for Rapsodo or TrackMan. It's not a biomechanics analysis tool.
SpinAxis is the layer between measurement and decision-making.
You submit your throwing data (velocity, spin, command metrics, session logs—whatever you have). SpinAxis analyzes your profile through the UBKT framework, a structured system for understanding what throwing data actually means. You receive a detailed interpretation report that identifies:
- Your mechanical profile — how your system is organized
- Performance patterns — what your data reveals about consistency and development
- Priority areas — what to focus on first
- Interpretation summary — what your numbers actually mean
This is not generic coaching advice. This is structured analysis of your specific data, interpreted through a framework designed to separate signal from noise.
The Process
Submit Your Data
Upload your throwing data—velocity, spin rate, spin axis, command metrics, session logs, or whatever measurement you have access to. If you're using Rapsodo or TrackMan, we can work with that directly. If you have your own logs, that works too.
UBKT Analysis
Your data is analyzed through the UBKT framework, a structured system for interpreting throwing mechanics and performance. The framework separates mechanical patterns from noise, identifies your profile, and extracts actionable meaning.
Receive Your Interpretation
You get a detailed report that explains what your data means, what patterns matter, and what to prioritize next. This is not a generic report—it's specific to your profile.
Apply & Iterate
Use the interpretation to guide your development. Resubmit data later to track progress and refine priorities.
Your Interpretation Report
Athlete Profile
A structured breakdown of your mechanical and performance profile based on your data. This is your baseline.
Pattern Analysis
What your data reveals about consistency, development trajectory, and performance patterns. What's working. What's not.
Priority Framework
A clear ranking of what to focus on first, second, and third. Not everything matters equally—this helps you know where to invest effort.
Interpretation Summary
Plain-language explanation of what your numbers mean and why they matter. No jargon. Just clarity.
Best-Fit Users
For:
- Pitching coaches working with measured athletes
- Serious pitchers (high school, college, travel ball)
- Player development facilities
- Data-aware parents
- Organizations using measurement tools
Not For:
- —Total beginners without measurement data
- —Casual baseball consumers
- —People looking for their first pitching lesson
In plain English: SpinAxis is for people who already have numbers and want structured meaning, not for people who need their first baseball lesson.
Pilot Access
Pilot Tier
Single athlete interpretation report
Pilot assessment
Free for selected orgs
- Full UBKT analysis
- Profile breakdown
- Pattern analysis
- Priority framework
- Recommendations
- Turnaround: 5–7 business days
Why pilot pricing? We're building proof with real users right now. Early pilots are $99 (or free for selected organizations) because we're gathering feedback and refining the framework. This is an investment in validation, not a finished product price.
How do I get free access? We're offering free pilots to select coaches, facilities, and organizations that fit our early-user profile. If you're interested, mention it in your pilot request.
Calibration Set — MLB Proxy Tier
Here's proof. We've already scored 7 MLB-caliber pitchers using the UBKT framework. These are real athletes with real data. This is what SpinAxis output looks like.

FAQ
Do I need Rapsodo or TrackMan data?
Not necessarily. SpinAxis works with any objective throwing data—velocity logs, command metrics, spin measurements, session records. If you have Rapsodo or TrackMan, great. If you have your own measurement system, that works too.
Is this coaching?
No. SpinAxis is interpretation, not instruction. We analyze your data and tell you what it means and what to prioritize. A coach or trainer then uses that interpretation to guide development.
How long does the analysis take?
Typically 5–7 business days from submission to report delivery.
Can I get interpretation for multiple athletes?
Yes. Coach and facility tiers are available. Contact us for custom arrangements.
What happens after I request pilot access?
We'll contact you within 24 hours to confirm your data submission process, answer questions, and set expectations. You'll submit your data, we'll complete the analysis, and you'll receive your interpretation report.
Is this for one-time assessment or ongoing monitoring?
The pilot tier is a one-time assessment. If you want ongoing interpretation as your athlete develops, we can discuss custom arrangements.
How is this different from what my coach already does?
Your coach brings expertise and experience. SpinAxis brings structured, data-driven interpretation. The best outcome is using both—your coach's judgment enhanced by SpinAxis's systematic analysis of your data.
What if I don't have much data yet?
You need at least a few sessions of objective data (velocity, spin, command) to get meaningful interpretation. If you're just starting measurement, we can discuss what data to collect first.
Ready to Understand Your Data?
SpinAxis is for coaches and players who have throwing data and want to know what it actually means. If that's you, request pilot access. We'll work with you to build proof that structured interpretation creates clarity.
